Goals

The Electronics Team will take the output of the Algorithms Team, which will be finger/key pairings along with timestamps of when that key should be pressed. The Electronics team will then actuate the servos and stepper motors properly so that the key is pressed at the correct time.

For Fall 2024, the main goals are

  • On board new members

  • Create a working communication between computer/Arduino to control fingers

  • Figure out how to split power to servos/actuators from Arduino PWM data

  • Move from Arduino to a faster microcontroller, like an ESP32

  • Meet with algorithms team and figure out how to use their output data

  • Create a PCB to minimize size of our current solution
